Business Development Executive

Job description

Hey Sales hero, we’ve been looking for you.

Workspace 365 is doing really well, so we are setting our sights abroad. The United Kingdom is at the top of our list and we need an explorer. Workspace 365 is looking for an earthshakin’ groundbreakin’ dealmakin’ Business Development Executive to lead the way in the UK. Someone who can spot opportunities and find clients in London and other big cities. So do you want to work for a (very fun, if we may say so ourselves) remote team, or elsewhere and don’t mind hopping over there once in a while, keep on reading!

Forget about traditional sales. As Business Development Executive International you are all about 'new business'. You'll approach new industries based on data, find new clients that fit our product, build relationships with these potential customers and close the deal!

Not a techie? Not a problem. Our clients effortlessly adopt our software product — one digital workspace making everything easier for its users. If they can do it, you can too. We expect you to be on top of trends in the international market. You should be analytical and flexible, but also have ambition to grow together with our passionate team.

Is it you?

Workspace 365 already has some experience with partners and customers in the United Kingdom, but is placing a new and stronger focus on it in 2021 and beyond, with the possibility of opening a UK office at the end of this year. You are therefore the trailblazer of the team when it comes to the UK.

Trying new things doesn’t scare you and long deal cycles don’t stress you out (but you do keep track of them). And let’s state the obvious: your English is perfect. As an Business Development Executive, your team will turn leads into appointments and you’ll turn appointments into customers. While doing so, you’ll coach your team members in sales and approaching potential clients.

Is it us?

We have much more to offer than a terrific job. You'll become part of a young, vibrant and fast-growing organisation. We have an informal company culture and are happy to lend a helping hand to our colleagues. Hard work is in our DNA, but we also take time to enjoy and celebrate the accomplishments of our team. Dedicate to celebrate. We like to offer our people a certain amount of freedom, and we are flexible and adaptive. We like being different (and better, always better), as long as we can keep it simple too.

What we want from you:

Besides the ‘no nine-to-five’ ‘dynamic’ ‘team spirit’ cliches:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative role, preferably in IT;
  • You’re (target) driven and motivated to grow and learn;
  • Higher education or equivalent level;
  • Effective networker who can create and host presentations;
  • Traveling energises you;
  • If you could bring us British snacks once in a while, that’d be nice (but not required).

What you can expect from us:

Besides the fact that we’re awesome:

  • An ambitious and informal team, legendary company outings and festivities;
  • Co-workers who think they're comedians;
  • Flexible working hours and lots of freedom;
  • The opportunity to have a big impact on the growth of our company;
  • Plenty of possibilities for professional and personal development;
  • A good salary and bonus scheme;
  • 25 days of annual leave, provided you don’t make us too jealous with great holiday photos.

Do our organisation and Workspace 365 appeal to you?

Then we look forward to your application!
