Read here the story of our colleague Bregje, working as finance specialist.
Since October 2023, Bregje has been part of the Finance team at Workspace 365. After no less than 12 years with her previous employer, she made the switch to us.
After such a great period, it takes some getting used to a new organisation. "The first month was quite chaotic. I had to get very used to the environment and the new colleagues. But they also had to get used to me. You have to find your place in the company again. But I was welcomed with open arms and a lot of attention was paid to me as a person. That made it feel right away."
Within Workspace 365, Bregje is responsible for financial administration. "I deal with debtor management, including invoicing and reminders. I liaise with our partners on financial matters. Recently, I have been added to the fleet management team and the ISO team. I have little experience with both, but I was looking for new challenges and I will definitely get them here within Workspace365."
Those new challenges keep coming Bregje's way. "Workspace 365 has also had a branch in the UK since 2021. I will now also be in charge of UK administration. And in a while I will also be responsible for payroll administration. Thereby, we can still make many improvements in processes and policies so that we are scalable for further growth. I also see an important role for myself in this. I went for new opportunities and I already see those opportunities in my first few months. It is sometimes quite a bit of searching for the right approach, but there are always colleagues to help. So the freedom and responsibility within Workspace 365 is fully reflected in practice."
Continuing to develop yourself in a friendly environment. That's something we aim for everyone. "The atmosphere within the organisation is very pleasant. A lot is possible, everyone is open and seeks to connect with each other at lunch, for example. There is also a lot of focus on cooperation and connection from within the organisation. Various events, get-togethers and sports lessons contribute to this. I am glad I dared to take the step!"
