Ivo has worked for a considerable time in a production environment as a QA manager. He was unsure if that role was right for him and wanted to broaden his horizons. He sought a role where he could leverage his entrepreneurship, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. He found this opportunity at Workspace 365.
New responsibilities take you out of your comfort zone. "I found the onboarding process at Workspace 365 to be very effective. There's a real plan for you, and you get to speak with all the teams. This way, you are truly introduced and become familiar with the organization. The first time I had to pick up the phone to make a call, I found it a bit daunting. But you grow into it and are well-guided. It's a skill I can use anytime and anywhere: asking questions and identifying someone's problem."
The difference in company culture was significant for Ivo. "At Workspace 365, I immediately got a tech scale-up feeling. For me, that means freedom, flexibility, modernity, and openness. You can be yourself, chart your own course, and organize your work as you want. On the flip side, many processes are not yet established, and it can be a bit unstructured at times. With my QA background, I was able to take on several projects within the Growth team right away. Processes are now documented in manuals, reducing ambiguity and frustration."
Within Workspace 365, you can showcase your abilities. "If you're motivated and eager to take on different things, there are plenty of opportunities. For example, I collaborated with HR to organize a Mental Health event, and the example of work processes typifies this for me. They really look at what someone can do and what their talent is. That instills confidence and ensures that you are noticed."
