Kelly studied communications at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. In August 2020, she joined the marketing team. She briefly doubted whether IT was for her, but the opportunity to develop herself and the pleasant culture were decisive for her to start at Workspace 365.
The wonderful world of IT
Without any knowledge of IT, Kelly embarked on the adventure. "The first few months I spent a lot of time getting to know the IT world and our product. I was also given the space to discover which side of marketing I was interested in. By taking a course on Storytelling and learning more about content marketing, I decided to focus entirely on content marketing after three months."
2023, what a year!
In the meantime, Kelly has been able to pick up many different projects as a content marketer. "In the past year, we have made huge strides with the marketing team. We created a whole new value proposition, worked on a new website and a rebranding. All the content we had created in the past had to be reviewed, and a lot of new content had to be created. I am proud of the result we achieved as a team. For next year, fun things are also planned. The website will be further optimised, we have a new content and social media strategy, and we will focus more on the collaboration between sales and marketing."
The right choise
Over the past few years, Kelly has become an indispensable force in the marketing team and has experienced many different phases of Workspace 365. "Workspace 365 has had quite a bit of growing pains. That's not surprising because of the growth we've experienced, but it's also complicated at times. During my time at Workspace 365, I made a short interim move to another organisation. But after a few months, I found out that Workspace 365 is really it for me. The open culture at is really special. It works well for me and makes me enjoy going to work. It was quite exciting to return to Workspace 365, but it has been a really good choice."
You learn
The different stages of Workspace 365 have also led to personal development for Kelly. "When I started at Workspace 365 right after my studies, I wasn't yet convinced of my knowledge and skills and sometimes looked at the cat. That has changed now. I am much more pro-active, dare to express myself and the marketing team is more visible in the organisation. As a result, I am really enjoying myself and I feel that I am still progressing in my development. I look forward to what else is to come!"
