Levy is in his 2nd year of the Sales and Account Management course at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. He gets satisfaction from getting results, which can't be a coincidence with this study. At Workspace 365, he did a work placement within the Growth (sales) team, which suited his interests well. A nice internship allowance completed the story.
Energetic team
The Growth team is a young and driven team. "There is a very open and informal culture. Colleagues all interact in a very approachable way. As a result, you quickly build up a bond and trust in each other. That also ensures that you can develop quickly and well. Giving and receiving feedback is a lot easier that way. It also motivates me to develop. The Growth Card offers good tools for that. It feels good to think about the future and what you still want to achieve."
Stepping out of your comfort zone
Levy has been fully involved in the sales process. "I started with telephone acquisition. The calling itself was new to me, so quite exciting at first too. But it's good to be pulled out of your comfort zone. Of course, not everything went right the first time, but not much can really go wrong either. Hearing feedback and moving on. It took three weeks until my first appointment. I was very happy with that! I could also always watch an Account Executive or Marketing, for instance. That too taught me more and more."
Have fun
Every week, messages are delivered to the office. "Everyone within Workspace 365 has the opportunity to join us for lunch at the office. All the tables are filled with tasty lunch stuff and you can grab what you want. You also see that this is the time where people from other teams flock to each other and have a chat. Age no longer plays a role then and so I chat with the more experienced colleagues. We play a game of table tennis or hold a plank challenge. In fact, it's never boring. Hard work and fun are allowed to coexist: dedicate to celebrate."
